Ich denke, wir können den Winter endlich abhaken und uns dem Frühling widmen. Seit Tagen scheint die Sonne, die Temperaturen sind angenehm (für die Fotos geht’s dann auch wirklich ohne Jäckchen) und die gute Laune erwischt jeden Winter-mir-ist-kalt-Miesmuffel.
In London habe ich, so richtig “last minute”, dieses Outfit zusammengestellt. Im Flughafen Heathrow gibt es nämlich zwei richtig tolle Geschäfte: Ted Baker und French Connection. Ted Baker schreit sowieso ganz laut meinen Namen (Kleider, Kleider, Kleider und Blumenprints!) und French Connection hat so viele schöne Teile, die sich durchgehend gut in meinem Kleiderschrank machen würden… Als ich also noch ein bisschen Zeit hatte, bevor mein Flug nach Hause ging, habe ich ein bisschen gestöbert und – nachdem ich bei Ted Baker bereits ein Kleid gekauft hatte (allerdings in der Stadt) – dieses T-Shirt gefunden. Auch der Rock stach mir sofort in die Augen und als ich beides eingetütet in der Hand hatte, kam mir sofort die Idee, meine neuen Errungenschaften miteinander zu kombinieren. :) Ich liebe den Blumenprint auf dem Shirt und auch der Rock mit dem krisseligen “Salt and Pepper”-Stoff ist gleich ein Lieblingsstück geworden. Ausgestellt? Meins! Zugegeben, er dürfte noch ein kleines Bisschen länger sein, aber er bedeckt alles und somit geht das für mich klar. ;)

I think that we can finally check off winter and focus on spring. The sun has been shining for days now, the temperatures are lovely (good for pictures without a cardi) and the good mood gets every winter-it’s-so-cold-grump.
In London, I put this outfit together – totally “last minute”. There’s a Ted Baker and French Connection shop at Heathrow Airport, and while Ted Baker screams my name very loud (dresses, dresses, dresses and floral prints!), French Connection has a lot of beautiful pieces that would be doing very well in my closet… So when I had some time before my flight home, I browsed through both stores and found this shirt at Ted Baker (after already buying a dress in the city) and the skirt at French Connection. When I had both shopping bags, I immediately had the idea of combining both pieces. :) I love the floral print shirt and the skirt with its gritty “salt and pepper” fabric instantly became a favorite. It’s flared? I’ll take it. Admittedly, it could be a little longer, but as it covers everything, that’s okay for me. ;)
