I promised you to style a real outfit with the shirt. Here it is! And it’s been one of your absolute favorites on → Instagram. :) That’s why I’m very happy to show you even more pictures of the look.

Not only the Beth Ditto x Jean Paul Gaultier shirt has been a hit, but also the tulle skirt from Scarlett & Jo, which actually isn’t a real tulle skirt (and that’s why I love it even more). It’s a regular black skirt with a net layer on it. That’s what makes it even more special and gives it a more sophisticated look (instead of being too princess-like). The elastic waist band runs a little bit small, I’m wearing size UK 14/16 and since I’m more of a 16, one size up would be a bit more comfortable. So if you tend to be the bigger size of the two, you should consider buying a size up. ;)
Talking about the shirt – this is a 1XL and you’ve already seen it → here in full bloom. :) When I chose the skirt, I instantly had the idea to wear it with the corset tee because I think that the combination is just perfect. It also gives the shirt a very different look and I think it’s even more interesting like that. But of course it’s also great with leggings or your favorite jeans – and it even looks amazing on men! My blogger friend → Claus shows us in his post how he rocks that corset print! :)

Blazer: H&M Trend
Shirt: Gina Tricot
Bra: Agent Provocateur “Whitney”
Culotte: Manon Baptiste
Boots: Céline
Earrings: Chanel
Bracelet: Hermès
Alternatives: ASOS blazer,
ASOS bra, boohoo Plus culotte,
Public Desire boots, Carvela boots

I found these amazing Céline boots at TK Maxx for only € 191 – they originally cost around € 1200! Isn’t this crazy? I still can’t understand why they landed at TK Maxx or why they were that much cheaper, but since I actually fell in love with the design before I saw the brand (and was extremely surprised when I saw that they’re Céline!), I just smiled and walked straight to the cashier.
These are the softest leather boots ever and I love the bordeaux color, the heel design and – even though I already got a → pair of boots with the same detail – the zipper in front.

I’ve never really shown this blazer on the blog. I still remember the day when I wanted to buy it: I spent almost an hour thinking if I should buy it or not and finally left the store without it – just to send my husband to the store the next day because I couldn’t live without it. And still it’s one of the pieces I almost never wear because I don’t really like blazers on me. For today’s look it was just perfect, even though it doesn’t have the same color as the shoes, but it’s from the same color family (and the difference is only that big in the pictures).
Styling culottes has become one of my favorite occupations because they’re really not that easy to style and look great with when you’re fat. So that’s why I love trying different things with them and showing you my ideas and maybe inspire you to do the same and be creative with your clothes. Because there are no limits, only possibilities!

One of the special details of the look can’t be seen in the pictures (don’t know why the camera hid it): the shirt I’m wearing is semi-transparent and you can see my bra, that’s why I chose a very special one. Maybe you can see it better on your screen, maybe not, but I really liked the idea. Too bad that sometimes reality is a bit different from the photos (like my height, I really don’t know why I always look so tall…).

I promise that’s my last look from fall (actually shot on November 1 – you see, we really work a lot in advance…). But our temperatures at the moment are definitely warm enough to make this look wearable. ;) Maybe now with boots and tights instead of peep-toe heels, but still a great everyday outfit. :)

I already showed you my make-up some time ago, so if you like it, feel free to read more about it → here. ;)

Well, to be honest, I don’t have nothing to tell you today. The last days have been pretty sleepy for me. Since I was sick (and finally better now!), I spent Christmas mostly in bed or eating, watching two new series (“The Royals” and “Fear the Walking Dead”) and just chilling. Now it’s time to do the last deeds of the year and wrap it up with a BOOM! :) I’m looking forward to welcoming our friends up here in a few days and celebrate New Year’s Eve with my besties – can’t wait! What are you guys up to on NYE?

I asked myself: “What if I was invited to a ‘real’ Fashion Week? What would I wear?” – Paris, New York, Milano,… many options and one answer: this. Not much time ago, one of my favorite fashion bloggers, → Thássia Naves, posted an outfit wearing this cashmere collar from COS, which is actually made to be worn under a top/shirt/sweater/whatever. That’s what I love about fashion: why not change the rules and make your own? She wore it over a shirt and it inspired me to style my own look wearing the collar like this.

It was also about time I got a pair of overknee boots. The last few winters, I didn’t care about buying them, but this time they were just perfect to complete my look. I’m wearing my boots a bit “ruffled” because I like it a bit better than wearing them totally straight. They keep slipping anyways, so I can’t even do anything else. ;)

Blue, black and white – what else is better than combining these colors with some silver details in form of jewelry and bag hardwear. I’m definitely more of a silver person, gold doesn’t match my skin tone that well, so luckily this was just the right choice for completing my look. What do you say? Ready for a Fashion Week? Who knows, maybe I’ll be able to show off my look in one of the big fashion cities one day… ;)
