Here we are, back again with a boyish look. After my androgynous cape style, here’s another mixed style – but this time I’m making a long dress look more masculine with a tie and a small hat. It’s something very different, even more different than my look with the cape, since a tie is something I really haven’t worn before.

I know, it’s probably kind of weird to see me like this – even for me it’s very strange, but I kind of liked “switching” (well, not really, because of the dress) roles for a day. ;) Nevertheless, I’m pretty sure that you won’t see me dressed like this again anytime soon – I’ll always prefer extremely feminine and diva-like looks. ;)

Anyways, I love the combination of black and gray – I find it even more interesting than the classic black and white (but it’s still my favorite). I wanted to make this dress a bit more form-fitting with a belt, and that’s where it all started. Adding the vintage hat (it’s from my father’s grandfather), the tie, the bag and the shoes, it’s a very minimalistic style, but there’s just this special something about it. I also went for a more feminine and smokey make-up in order to make everything look more feminine again. The interesting part about it is that I used some gold for it, even though the rest of the outfit only includes silver hardwear.

All black is my all-time favorite. I’d even say that it’s the most sophisticated look a fashionista can wear and if you add that little special extra (in my case it’s the bright red matte lip color), you’ll look stylish as hell. ;)

Culottes were one of the most interesting clothing pieces of last year. I think they are pretty nice and very versatile, you can create extremely cool looks with them and even though you’re almost wearing shorts in winter, you’ll still stay warm enough. Normally, culottes are a bit longer, but I had mine shortened a little more than usual because I think that I’m actually a bit too short to wear them in calf length. I guess that’s the best style of them for me. :)

I went for an all-black look, wearing a very cozy and comfortable sweater and almost flat boots. My favorite vintage coat is my best friend in winter – you’ve already seen it a lot here on the blog. And its texture somehow even matches my boots. It’s all about the details, right? ;)

ENToday I’m showing you a casual look (after my last outfit, which was pretty girly) that I wore for shopping. :) I actually threw on a cardi, but for the pictures I dropped it so you can see the back detail! :)

As the shirt has a very special cut in the back, it’s not that easy to wear a normal bra under it (looks pretty bad), so I went for my body which you all know from → this post. A little bit of sexy doesn’t harm that rather easy outfit, and because the shirt keeps falling off my shoulders, the body is at least something more special to see. :)

I’m also wearing two new pieces: the orange bag “happened” very quickly because I had the chance to get the Micro Boxer by Reed Krakoff in the SALE for an unbeatable price – I already liked the bag before, but the original price is just totally unaffordable (say: uncompatible with my conscience, especially if you think about how small the bag is). But now I’ve got much more fun when wearing it, and even if the bag is very tiny, that’s just why I love it so much. It would be pretty boring if it was different. :) The earrings are new, too. I brought them from London, where I found them at Topshop (and it was love at first sight) – aren’t they gorgeous?! :)
