There’s finally happening a little bit more here on the blog – thanks to a little photo session I had in August when I was in Düsseldorf. But there were also a few events, including the highly anticipated Plus Size Fashion Days in Hamburg at the end of September! I still don’t have all pictures (and I don’t know if there’ll be a video), so I’m waiting until I got all the material for a blog post. ;)

• My August & September •

In August, I went to Munich for the casting of the Plus Size Fashion Days – like last year, I’ve been in the jury and got to meet many interesting people and it was a lot of fun to get to know them!
I also went to → Grafenwöhr like every year and spent some time with my old but also new friends at my favorite festival of the year.
I travelled to Berlin for an amazing event with Urban Decay for the launch of their new “NAKED Heat” palette and it was super exciting! A few days later I took a flight to Düsseldorf for another lovely event – “A Day with C&A” – and we had an → amazing photo shoot but also filmed a few videos and I got to meet the people who create the plus-size collection at C&A (of course, I told them what we want!). ;)

September was pretty quiet at the beginning, but then there happened a lot of great things! First, I went to Munich again, for the most special shoot I ever had, with Sung-Hee Seewald. I can’t wait to show you the photos we took but of course, I want to create a special story around it, so please be patient. But → here’s a first preview! ;)
And then, it was finally time for the Plus Size Fashion Days 2017 in Hamburg! I spent a whole week in Hamburg for fittings, appointments (like → visiting my hair stylists at Moij), time with friends but also the most important part: catwalk training and the show (and fair). It’s been a super eventful week, actually a little bit too much because I came back home super sick and have been lying in bed for more than a week. The PSFD are amazing but at the same time the most intense and stressful days of the year. I’m proud of being able to be a part of it and live this experience but it’s a pretty tough time! ;)
I met a lot of new people, including → Tess Holliday and her lovely husband Nick, had an interview plus photo shoot with femtastics (it should go online pretty soon!) and it was great to be in Hamburg again after such a long time. I really miss the city. I miss my friends and I simply miss being there. But I’m working hard on coming back! ♥
