DEDieses Jahr war ich zum Valentinstag ausnahmsweise mal voll im Kitschmodus – Toast mit ausgeschnittenen Herzen (die mit Rührei gefüllt waren), Blumen für mich von meinem wunderbaren Mann und abends ein leckeres kleines Sushimenü bei unserem Lieblingslokal hier in Hamburg (Sushi Lô). Und obwohl das ja so ein “Rosarote Brille”-Tag ist, hab’ ich mich für ein “All Black”-Outfit entschieden. Aber mit Farbakzent, nämlich meiner wundervollen Hochzeitsclutch (passt an so einem romantischen Tag und Abend natürlich am besten!), die mich auch für mein Make-up inspiriert hat (faszinierend, dass ich wirklich einen Lidschatten im exakt gleichen Farbton habe, oder?).

ENThis year on Valentine’s Day, I was in full kitsch mode – toast with heart-shaped cut-outs (filled with scrambled eggs), flowers for me from my lovely husband and a cute little sushi menu at our favorite restaurant here in Hamburg. And even though Valentine’s Day is a pretty girly day (lots of pink and red included), I went for an “all black” look. But of course with one color spot, my wonderful wedding clutch (perfect on this day!), which inspired me to my make-up (isn’t it fascinating that I even got an eye shadow in the exact same color?).

DEAn das Wetter hier in Hamburg muss ich mich doch immer noch gewöhnen. Seit etwa zwei Wochen ist es nur noch grau und regnet – der stürmische Wind ruiniert zudem alles, was man ansatzweise noch Frisur nennen kann und lässt den Regen aus allen Richtungen kommen. Deshalb seht ihr mich heute mal in “Schutzkleidung” – von unten geschützt mit Gummistiefeln, von oben mit dem Schirm und eingemümmelt in meinen Lieblingsmantel.
Da ich ein Fan von schwarz-roten Kombis bin, hab’ ich auch hier in das sonst sehr dunkle Outfit ein paar Elemente eingebracht, nämlich (neben dem kaum übersehbaren Regenschirm) meine liebste “Soho”-Bag und in Form von sexy Spitze ein bisschen was von dem wohl schönsten BH der Welt, der ja doch auch ein bisschen dafür gemacht wurde, gesehen zu werden. ;) Leichte graue Smokey Eyes und ein wunderschönes mattiertes Rot auf den Lippen und fertig ist ein perfektes Shoppingoutfit für den aktuellen Hamburger “Winter”. :)

ENI still have to get used to the weather here in Hamburg. For about two weeks, it has only been gray and raining – the stormy wind ruins any hairstyle and makes the rain come from all sides. That’s why today you can see my “protective wear” – protected with rubber boots from below, with an umbrella from above and wrapped in my favorite coat.
As I’m a huge fan of black and red combinations, I added some red details to my very black outfit – besides the bright red umbrella you just can’t overlook, there’s my beloved “Soho” bag and, coming from the most beautiful bra ever (which is definitely kind of made to be seen!), some sexy red lace. ;) Plus: some light gray smokey eyes and a gorgeous mattified red on the lips, and there’s my perfect shopping outfit for the current “winter” in Hamburg. :)

DEEin Nachzügler-Outfit, das ich euch deshalb erst heute zeige, weil mein neuer → Style Council Artikel online ist. :) Das war nämlich mein Outfit auf der Messe, um die es in dem Artikel geht. Ein Teil habe ich beim Nachstylen (in Berlin hat es zeitlich mit dem Shooten nicht mehr geklappt) aber, weil ich es so noch schicker finde, ersetzt – nämlich die Stiefel. :) Auf der Messe habe ich meine Bikerboots von Zara dazu getragen, die natürlich entsprechend bequemer waren (etwa 10 Stunden ohne viel Sitzen erfordern das auch irgendwie, oder?). :)
Den Rest habe ich natürlich exakt genauso getragen, sowohl die Haare, als auch das Make-up – alles identisch. :) Und das ist definitiv ein Lieblingslook (den Pulli liebe ich ja sowieso über alles und mit den Farbtupfern in Rot als Tasche und Lippenstift, macht das Schwarz-Weiß-Outfit doch wirklich was her!).

I’m showing you this outfit from January a little bit late as this was my outfit at the fair in Berlin – and that’s what → my latest Style Council article is about. :) When I recreated this outfit for the shooting at home (unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time for pictures in Berlin), I replaced the boots (because I think that these Vic Matié beauties look much better with the rest). :) At the fair, I was wearing my biker boots by Zara, which are definitely much more comfortable (and about 10 hours without sitting require that, right?). :)
The rest is exactly what I wore back then, as well as my hair and the make-up – everything’s identical. :) And this is definitely one of my favorite looks (I adore this sweater and combined with some color splashes in red with the bag and the lipstick, it’s a great black-and-white look!).

DESo schnell kann es gehen – heute ist schon der 1. Dezember! :) Ich darf euch also allen einen wunderbaren ersten Adventssonntag wünschen und schicke euch mit einem winterlichen Outfit in den letzten Monat des Jahres!

An das Kleid könnt ihr euch bestimmt erinnern. Im Sommer habe ich ein → Outfit damit gepostet, das zu meinen liebsten Shootings gehört. Für die kalten Temperaturen habe ich mir also vorgenommen, es auch mal winterlich zu stylen, was gar nicht so schwierig ist, weil es meiner Meinung nach doch ganz gut in die kalte Jahreszeit passt.
Um nicht zu frieren, habe ich neben der dicken Strumpfhose auch meinen kuschligsten Mantel und Samthandschühchen an, die mal meiner Oma gehört haben. :)

Ich werde mich jetzt erst mal warm einmümmeln, eine Kerze anzünden (momentan noch “Beach Flowers” von Yankee Candle – ich brauche unbedingt eine weihnachtliche Version, könnt ihr eine empfehlen?) und den Abend ganz entspannt und gemütlich mit meinem Freund vorm Fernseher verbringen. Plätzchen backen steht dann nächste Woche an! :)

Time flies – today already is the first day of December! :) I wish you all a wonderful first Advent Sunday! Let’s start the last month of the year with a wintery outfit!

You will probably remember this dress. I → wore it in summer for one of my favorite shootings. Now I wanted to style it in a wintery way, and it actually wasn’t that difficult because I think that it fits perfectly into the cold season. In order not to be cold, I combined the dress with thick tights, my warmest coat and velvet gloves that belonged to my grandma. :)

Now, I will wrap myself up in some warm clothes and a blanket, light a candle (at the moment I am using “Beach Flowers” by Yankee Candle – I really need a Christmassy one, can you recommend one?) and spend a relaxed and cuddly evening watching TV with my boyfriend. Baking Christmas cookies is scheduled for next week! :)
