Aaaah, the 70s – I’ve actually never been a great fan of the typical style of the 70s, but since last summer, I’ve started to like a few pieces that fit perfectly into this decade. It’s fun to style yourself in different ways and give everything a chance instead of always saying “no” when it’s not your usual style. So here I am, wearing → this dress from the current Anna Scholz for sheego collection, the second piece of my editorial “trilogy”, and it’s the dress that was most difficult for me to style – just because I’m not used to the cutouts, the paisley print and that whole 70s flair. But (and that’s a huge one): I really love it! I kind of feel like a modern hippie diva and adding my own accessories to the dress was lots of fun. :)
You all know me, I’m always up for a chic look, so after → last time, when I showed you how casual I can be, here’s an elegant version with another lovely dress that’s just perfect for summer. I had to take it one size up for a nicer fit, so I’m wearing a EU46, which I made a bit more formfitted with a small belt that works perfectly with my platform heels. ;) I actually wanted to wear a cognac-colored hat, but unfortunately I don’t own one, so I had to go for black, but I think it’s actually a nice contrast, especially because it’s a straw hat, which makes it not too heavy as the only black piece in this look.

[…] Anna signature look as we’ve already seen side slits on a few of her pieces (for example on → this dress from last season). I could also imagine wearing it with a knit cardi or a vest and overknee boots when it’s […]
Danke, danke, danke, liebe Carmen! Ich wünsch’ dir noch ein wunderbares Rest-Wochenende! ♥
I love that print! And the sunniest are perfect. This is a great look on you. Most of the 70s style doesn’t work for shorter women, maybe because the scale of sleeves, collars, is overwhelming, But this dress works. I would prefer a different hat with this dress.
Thank you! Yes, I think the oversized flared details aren’t the easiest for short people like me but I think you can always make it work. ;)
